(Hypnosis Mastery Institute) (“HMI”, "NWHI" “Our”, “Us”, or “We”) owns and operates Hypnosis Mastery Institute and other related content, deliverables, programs, etc. (together “Product” or “Products”), and all related websites, (including hypnosismasteryinstitute.com, et al), programs, courses, materials, services and content (together, “Service” or “Services”); including but not limited to audio, video, written, and or all other formats.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of any and all visitors, clients, and members (“Members”, “Member”, “You”, or “Your”), who contact, visit, join, follow, or participate in any way, whether free of charge or for purchase, Our Program and/or Services, websites, platform, and social media, etc.
By purchasing, joining, using, attending, or interacting with Our Products and/or Services, Members agree to, commit to and abide by Our Terms.
Members must affirm that they are at least 18 years of age, and are fully able and competent:
A) to assume and to fulfil the obligations set forth in these Terms, Disclaimers, and Privacy Policy;
B) to make and agree to the representations and warranties set forth and required in these Terms, Disclaimers, and Privacy Policy; and,

Terms of Use
Member Accounts: When You create an account with Us, You must provide Us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. That means You must use Your real and actual name. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account with Our Products and/or Services.
Purchase of Our Program and Services: We do not accept payment by check, money order, crypto currency, or cash. When You purchase any of Our Products and/or Services are required to make full payment via Stripe, PayPal, or credit card (together “Digital Payment”). When providing Digital Payment information, You represent and warrant that You have the legal right to use the Digital Payment method You provide, and that the information You submit is accurate, complete, and true. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse Member access if Member’s Digital Payment is at any point declined, cancelled or revoked by Member or Member’s Digital Payment vendor, or if Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. Member Use Only: Member agrees that all Products and/or Services purchased from Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (Hypnosis Mastery Institute) shall be for sole and personal use of Member only. Member may not sell, resell, share, give away any or provide access to any Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (Hypnosis Mastery Institute) Products and/or Services to any other person. Member may not in any way use Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (Hypnosis Mastery Institute) Products and/or Services for business and marketing purposes without the express prior written consent of Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (Hypnosis Mastery Institute) or without a signed Affiliate Agreement or Partner Agreement with Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (Hypnosis Mastery Institute).

2. No Guarantees: Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (Hypnosis Mastery Institute) does not guarantee that Members using Our Products and/or Services will have a successful hypnotherapy career, and results may and will vary among Members. This Professional Hypnotism Certification Course Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions under which the undersigned ("Student") will attend and participate in the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. approved training provided by Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (“NWHI”), an Oregon corporation.
Student understands that by signing this Agreement, Student is entering into a legally binding contract, and will be bound by the provisions contained herein as of the effective the date of Student’s signature. Student understands and agrees to the following:
Hypnotism Certification
To receive certification from the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. as a Certified Hypnotist, Certified Consulting Hypnotist or Certified Hypnotherapist, Student must successfully complete one hundred (100) hours of National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. approved professional training and complete an examination (the “Course”).
Some course credit may be in the form of outside study and practice. Student shall be solely responsible for making up required hours through outside study and/or practice if Student enrolls after the course start date or misses class. All students are required to practice and experience hypnosis to complete their training.
Class Schedule
Classes will be taught online by Zoom in one of these formats:
A) Fourteen (14) weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 9:00am to 5:00pm (PST); or
B) Seven (7) weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 9:00am to 5:00pm (PST)
Venue
Classes will be held online using Zoom. Venue, dates, hours and course content are subject to change at the sole discretion of NWHI.
Tuition
The cost of the Course is $2,495.00 and includes all course materials and a one-year National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc membership. The $2,495.00 amount is payable by Student in advance by cash, credit card, Affirm, PayPal, Stripe or check made out to Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc.
Tuition With Discount
The cost of the Course with Discount is $1,995.00 and includes all course materials and a one-year National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. membership. The $1,995.00 amount is payable by Student in advance by cash, credit card, Affirm, Stripe, PayPal, or check made out to Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc.
Refund Policy
The refund policy of the NWHI. is as follows:
Tuition: Refund requests made 5 days or more prior to the first class will receive a full (100%) refund. No refunds are available after the second day of classes. NWHI reserves the right in its sole discretion to provide a refund.
Requests: All refund requests must be sent by email to: [email protected] using a read receipt proof of mailing. The effective dates of the requests will be determined by the date the email is sent.
Termination Policy
A student may be terminated from participation in the course for (1) behavior creating a safety hazard, disruptive or disrespectful behavior; or (2) not maintaining an acceptable attendance record, or failing to adequately participate in class as determined in NWHI’s sole discretion, or (3) failure to pay tuition; or (4) any other inappropriate action or behavior at the sole discretion of the Instructors at NWHI. NWHI reserves the right to terminate a Student for any reason within NWHI’s sole discretion. In the event that NWHI exercises its discretion without cause, Student will receive a full refund.
Photo/Video/Audio Consent.
The undersigned Student hereby grants NWHI its representatives, and employees permission to use Student’s likeness, including but not limited to Student’s image or voice, in photographs, video, audio, or other digital media (the “Media”) in connection with the Course. Student agrees that any Media using Student’s likeness shall be the property of NWHI.
Student hereby irrevocably authorizes NWHI, and its assigns and transferees to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute Media for any legal purpose, including but not limited to fundraising, advertising, and publicity.
Student waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including physical or electronic copy, wherein the Student’s likeness appears. The Student waives all claims to compensation or damages based on the use of Student’s likeness by NWHI.
Student Confidentiality
NWHI shall handle personal information of Student responsibly. To protect Student, at NWHI’s sole discretion, if NWHI has concerns about Student’s suitability as a hypnotist or learns of any condition that may affect Student’s safety, practice, learning or future in the hypnosis profession, NWHI may arrange to talk to Student privately. NWHI shall not disclose the information discussed unless otherwise authorized by Student or required as a matter of law.
No Rights to Publish or Disseminate Course Materials
All course materials, and rights thereto, shall remain solely the property of their original authors and/or owners. Student expressly agrees not to copy, publish, distribute, or share course materials in any manner including but not limited to any digital, online, paper, photocopy, photograph or any other method without the express permission of the original authors and/or owners.
Student Agreement.
I have read this Agreement and fully understand the conditions and terms of this Agreement and the obligations of the parties hereunder. I agree that I am solely responsible for successfully completing all course requirements for certification. I understand that this consent is perpetual, irrevocable, and binding on my heirs and assigns.
I understand the State of Oregon does not regulate the practice of hypnotism. I understand that instruction and certification of course completion does not imply federal, state or local governing body licensing or education in any medical, health, therapeutic, emotional counseling, psychiatric, psychological or sociological field. I agree and stipulate that I will not use hypnosis for any medical or other purposes for which I am not licensed unless working under the supervision of a person licensed for that purpose and as prescribed by law.
I understand that these classes are not for the purpose of diagnosing, or the treatment of, any physical or mental ailment.
I understand that NWHI shall teach hypnosis classes in a professional manner. I further understand that, at NWHI’s sole discretion, its Instructors may use teaching methods and techniques, including but not limited to sharing stories of hypnosis occurrences that may be offensive to some students but are important to the learning process of the Course.
I further understand and agree that this Course and my designation as a Certified Hypnotist, Certified Consulting Hypnotist or Certified Hypnotherapist does not guarantee any future employment or income or success in business and that I am solely responsible for the establishment and building of my hypnotism practice and business.
I agree to conduct all of my practice and activities of hypnotism in conformance with the National Guild of Hypnotists’ Code of Ethics and the National Guild of Hypnotists’ Standards for Hypnotic Practice.
Miscellaneous.
1. Warranties: STUDENT ACCEPTS THE COURSE ON “AS IS” BASIS EXCEPT WHERE EXPRESSLY ADVISED OTHERWISE. NORTHWEST HYPNOSIS INSTITUTE, INC. HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THIS AGREEMENT, THE PRODUCTS, SERVICES OR TRANSACTIONS CONTEMPLATED HEREBY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, OR USAGE OF TRADE.
2. Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NORTHWEST HYPNOSIS INSTITUTE, INC. WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, LIQUIDATED OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE OR BUSINESS, ARISING IN WHOLE OR IN PART FROM PROVISIONS OF SERVICES OR PROVISION OF OTHER DELIVERABLES TO STUDENT, EVEN IF NORTHWEST HYPNOSIS INSTITUTE, INC. HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THESE TERMS, NORTHWEST HYPNOSIS INSTITUTE, INC.’S LIABILITY FOR ANY CAUSE WHATEVER AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE SUM OF ALL PAYMENTS STUDENT HAS MADE TO NORTHWEST HYPNOSIS INSTITUTE, INC. FOR THE SERVICE IN THE LAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
3. Agreement Limitation: Nothing expressed in this Agreement is intended to imply or create a partnership, association, joint venture, employee-employer, or franchiser- franchisee relationship between Student and NWHI.
4. Entire Agreement: This Agreement sets forth the entire and exclusive understanding and agreement between the parties regarding their subject matter and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, written or oral, relating to their subject matter.
5. Choice of Law and Venue: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon without regard to conflict of law rules.
6. ARBITRATION AGREEMENT: Except for collection disputes, All other disputes, arising out of or related to NWHI’s services being provided to Student are subject to binding arbitration pursuant to the procedural rules of the Arbitration Services of Portland (“ASP”). The venue for such Arbitration shall be in Multnomah County, Oregon. Except for collection efforts, the parties shall bear their own fees, including legal fees and expenses related to the arbitration. The prevailing party in any collection effort shall recover its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. The Parties understand that they are waiving rights such as the ability to appeal the arbitrator’s decision, limitations on discovery, and the right to a jury trial. Student may revoke this waiver up to five business days after execution of this Agreement by submitting Student’s revocation in writing to Bruce Terrill, c/o NWHI.
6. ARBITRATION AGREEMENT: Except for collection disputes, All other disputes, arising out of or related to NWHI’s services being provided to Student are subject to binding arbitration pursuant to the procedural rules of the Arbitration Services of Portland (“ASP”). The venue for such Arbitration shall be in Multnomah County, Oregon. Except for collection efforts, the parties shall bear their own fees, including legal fees and expenses related to the arbitration. The prevailing party in any collection effort shall recover its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. By selecting the "I Accept" button, you are signing this Agreement electronically. You agree your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual/handwritten signature on this Agreement. By selecting "I Accept" using any device, means or action, you consent to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You further agree that your signature on this document (hereafter referred to as your "E-Signature") is as valid as if you signed the document in writing. You also agree that no certification authority or other third-party verification is necessary to validate your E-Signature, and that the lack of such certification or third party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your E-Signature or any resulting agreement between you and NWHI.
WHEREAS, Bruce C. Terrill, on behalf of Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (“NWHI”) agrees to provide hypnosis services, life coaching or business consulting services in accordance with acquired education and training to the undersigned (the “Client”) for good and valuable consideration from Client;

I trained in hypnotism at the Knightsbridge Institute and received Consulting Hypnotist Certification from the National Guild of Hypnotists.
I received training and certification as a Certified Hypnotherapist and specialized in Conversational Hypnosis from The International Association of Professional Conversational Hypnotists.
I received training and certification as a Certified Instructor of Hypnotism from the National Guild of Hypnotists.
I received training and certification as a Certified Hypnotherapist from the National Guild of Hypnotists.
I received training and certification as a Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner from Beverly Martin, Master Practitioner; and.
I own and operate the Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc.
Affiliations:
I am a Certified Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. The National Guild of Hypnotists is the oldest and largest hypnotism organization in the world and its certification is the most widely recognized credential for the professional practice of the hypnotic arts.
I am a Certified Member of The International Association of Professional Conversational Hypnotists.
I am a member of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association.
I am a former member of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, London, United Kingdom.
Notice:
THE STATE OF OREGON HAS NOT ADOPTED EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING STANDARDS FOR THE PRACTICE OF HYPNOTISM. THIS STATEMENT OF CREDENTIALS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
Hypnotism is a self-regulating profession in Oregon and its practitioners are not licensed by the state. I am not a physician or a licensed health care provider. I do not provide medical diagnoses, prescribe medications or recommend a course of medical treatment. My credentials do not imply any form of federal, state or local governing body licensing or education in any professional medical, health, therapeutic, emotional counseling, psychiatric, psychological or sociological field. I maintain our communications in confidence. However, communications with me are not privileged communications such as those with your medical provider.
Client Rights:
Client may discontinue hypnotic services at any time.
In the event Client terminates hypnotic services with NWHI, Client has the right to a coordinated transfer of services to another practitioner.
Client has a right to refuse hypnotism services at any time.
Client has a right to be free of physical, verbal or sexual abuse.
Client has a right to know the expected duration of sessions.
Client may assert any of the above rights without retaliation.
Redress:
I am a certified member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, and practice in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Standards. If you have a complaint about my hypnosis services or behavior that I cannot resolve with you personally, you may contact the National Guild of Hypnotists at P.O. Box 308, Merrimack, NH 03054-0308, (603) 429-9438, to seek redress.
Fees:
I charge $150.00 per hour for hypnotic services. However, those rates may vary depending on the services that I am performing. The NWHI Services Agreement will control the agreement between NWHI and Client.
A hypnotic session is typically 60 to 90 minutes in duration. Clients will be given thirty (30) days notice of any change in fees. Payment options include cash, check, PayPal, and most major credit cards. Generally, insurance companies do not cover hypnotism services and as a result, I am unable to process insurance, including Medicare claims at this time.
No-Show/Late-Cancellation Fee:
All appointments must be cancelled twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a $75 cancellation fee. This includes arriving late to a scheduled appointment. Clients must call and leave a message at (503) 267-1675 to cancel an upcoming appointment. NWHI reserves the right to waive any Late-Cancellation Fee.
Confidentiality:
I will not release any information to anyone without a written authorization from you, except as required by law. Our communications are not subject protected from disclosure as a result of the doctor-patient or any other form of privilege. You have a right to your file including my professional notations about you regarding the services you have received.
NWHI reserves the right to charge a reasonable copying fee for requested files. NWHI supports mandatory reporting of child abuse.
My Approach:
Hypnotism means the use of trance and suggestion to adjust habits of thought, feeling and behavior. I use hypnotism with clients to motivate them to eliminate negative or unwanted habits, facilitate the learning process, improve memory and concentration, develop self-confidence, eliminate stage fright, improve athletic abilities, maximize skills and for other social, educational and cultural endeavors of a non-medical nature.
Hypnotic Services:
The services I render are nontherapeutic hypnotism, defined as the use of hypnosis to inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self-hypnosis. I am not a health care provider. I do not provide any form of healthcare services including mental health services such as psychotherapy, psychology or counseling. I do not diagnose, treat or cure mental health disorders. I reserve the right to terminate any hypnotic session with Client for any reason in my sole discretion, or refer Client to a different hypnotist terminating the services by NWHI.
The successes using my services and forms of treatment are dependent on many variables, including attitude, motivation, cooperation, practice and the attendance of scheduled sessions. I make no representations, warranties or guarantees about the Services I provide. To achieve the best results, Client must agree to hypnosis, and follow through with my recommendations, if any.
Acknowledgement:
I, the undersigned Client acknowledge that I have received a copy of this Client Disclosure and by signing attest that I have read and understand the information provided, and that I consent to e-sign this agreement.
By selecting the "I Accept" button, you are signing this Agreement electronically. You agree your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual/handwritten signature on this Agreement. By selecting "I Accept" using any device, means or action, you consent to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You further agree that your signature on this document (hereafter referred to as your "E-Signature") is as valid as if you signed the document in writing. You also agree that no certification authority or other third-party verification is necessary to validate your E-Signature, and that the lack of such certification or third party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your E-Signature or any resulting agreement between you and NWHI.
______________________________(“Client”) agrees to engage Northwest Hypnosis Institute, Inc. (“NWHI”) to provide Hypnotic Services, Life Coaching and/or Business Consulting (hereinafter collectively the “Services”) as determined by Bruce Terrill (“Terrill”) pursuant to the terms of this Services Agreement (“Agreement”). This Agreement shall govern the terms and conditions of Client’s engagement with NWHI.
Bruce Terrill is a trained Hypnotist and certified Hypnotherapist. Bruce Terrill is not a healthcare provider, a psychologist, psychiatrist or mental health counselor. Client is engaging Bruce Terrill based on an hourly rate for his services. Currently Mr. Terrill’s rate is $150.00. NWHI reserves the right to change the hourly rate with thirty-days (30) advance written notice to Client. Other services provided by NWHI may be charged at a different hourly rate or flat rate. The additional rates and services will be included in the “Services Provided” Attachment to this Agreement. The “Services Provided” Attachment is incorporated into this Agreement as if fully set forth herein. Client is obligated to pay all charges immediately upon receipt of NWHI’s invoice.
All disputes, arising out of or related to NWHI’s services being provided to Client are subject to binding arbitration pursuant to the procedural rules of the Arbitration Services of Portland (“ASP”). Except for collection efforts, the parties shall bear their own fees, including legal fees and expenses related to the arbitration. The prevailing party in any collection effort shall recover its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. The Parties understand that they are waiving rights such as the ability to appeal the arbitrator’s decision, limitations on discovery, and the right to a jury trial. Client may revoke this waiver up to five business days after execution of this Agreement by submitting Client’s revocation in writing to the Bruce Terrill, c/o NWHI.
